“I had heard rumblings about the ‘tradwife’ movement and had my doubts about whether Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke was my cup of tea. Luckily, the book transcends any one genre. A friend warned me that the narrator was unlikable and that the different timelines might throw me off, but I gave it a shot and am glad I did…I started to enjoy Yesteryear more when I realized that it wasn’t ‘about’ the tradwife movement and was more about storytelling.” —Anthony_Conty
