Book Club News: November Issue
Hello Book Clubbers,
Kicking off this issue of Book Club News is our discussion of Amy K. Green’s Haven’t Killed in Years, a mystery surrounding a serial killer’s daughter that puts aside convention and believability, or, as one participant describes it, “a very good yarn.”
And the fun doesn’t stop there. You can browse our most anticipated books for next year and check out some of our best author Q&As of this year, including one in which Graham Watson answered the controversial question of whether he’s in the Jane Eyre or Wuthering Heights camp.
Plus, we chat with Dorothy Minor of the Circle of Readers book club in Oklahoma, and bring you upcoming discussions and Ask the Author sessions in our community forum.
Thanks for reading,
The BookBrowse Team

Haven’t Killed in Years by Amy K. Green
From the Jacket No one is supposed to know harmless office worker Gwen Tanner is the vanished daughter of serial killer Abel Haggerty. But a low profile and a new name aren't going to cut it when an obsessive new killer starts targeting her, in this lively and propulsive thriller with a standout voice. From the Discussion “I like a mystery that keeps me guessing and more than that I like a mystery that has a surprise ending! And I was surprised!” —Paula_Walters |
“Haven’t Killed in Years by Amy Green is not only troublesome, but sharply written…Her character development is shrewd.” —Carol_N
“I would recommend the book to anyone who enjoys a good mystery and doesn’t demand 100% believability. There are lots of us who enjoy a good yarn. This book is a very good yarn.” —George_M
